Pumpkins and more pumpkins!!

On Fridays in Timmy's class they get to cash in the tickets that they have earned through out the week for fun little things, but last Friday Timmy brought home little pumpkins! Timmy was kind enough to share his pumpkins with Emily, even though she cried about not getting the ones (that's right more than one) she wanted. They decided that they wanted to paint them and so they did!

Saturday we went to the Pumpkin Walk. It is so much fun and people get really creative! It was a bit cold and I think everyone except Spencer got cold, but we still enjoyed ourselves and each other!

This was part of the first scene and in every scene after there was a hidden m&m pumpkin! The kids loved finding the hidden m&m!

We got a good laugh hearing the kids go "ewwwww" when they saw this pumpkin bottom!

Our neighors put this one together, they did a good job!

Where the wild things are scene

One Wild Thing!

What, another wild thing?

Keebler elves!

And my favorite, Green Gaint!

This was cool, can you guess who it is?

The Pumpkin King! We had just watched this movie early that day.

The kids really like these at the end and I think it helped to warm them up a little, running around to the different ones!

I guess we really like pumpkins and our pumpkin fun isn't over yet. We are carving our pumpkins tonight, so I'll post that later!

Crazy Hair!

This week is Red Ribbon Week. Yesterday kicked off the week with wearing red and today was crazy hair day. I tried my best to make Timmy and Emily's hair crazy!

Here is Timmy and Emily

and a close up of it

Emily's crazy hair, she looks like she is from Whoville

and of course I had to do Spencer's hair too, especially since he now has a little of it!

Dumb Dog??

Bruce and I are not best friends, I tolerate him because everyone else loves him. Even Spencer has a fondness for Bruce. With that said, I tell Bruce everyday that he is dumb. I probably tell him multiple times a day that he is dumb. Well this is how dumb he is, or maybe I should say how dumb he isn't!
I took Bruce out to go potty and you have to take him out on a leash or he runs away, well I dropped the leash and he just picked it up and ran away! It was really funny, but I still told him he was a dumb dog and I'm sure the neighbors got a good laugh as I chased him down!

Transitioning

I do believe that Spencer is now walking more than he is crawling. He is still a little wobbly, but he's doing it! Now when he is walking and falls he'll stand up and start walking again, before when he would fall he would just start crawling. I'm not looking forward to all the bumps and bruises that I know will soon follow!

Last week was the UEA convention, so Timmy and Emily didn't have school. The week started out bad with Spencer getting a stomach flu. It was awful!! I started to get it and that's when I asked for a blessing. Jeff and our home teacher gave Spencer and me a blessing and the next day I was all better and Spencer was mostly all better! This is when the fun began!

This is how Spencer felt, poor guy he had the worst of it!

Making Halloween cookies. I'm sure it is safe to say that this is a UEA break tradition now!

Finished cookies, they didn't last long!

We chilled and watched movies all day on Friday.

We made some scary spiders!

Another picture of making cookies, I tried to get all the pictures in order but it wasn't working

I made this, but didn't get it in the window until last night. It's not much to look at during the day and makes my kitchen dark, but its awesome at night!

So this doesn't have anything to do with our week, but this morning I was putting clothes away and found this. A little leg sticking out from under the crib.

Looking a little closer I found Spencer! Spencer found something too! He found Timmy's G.I. Joe ship that is kept under the crib, climbed under there and was playing with it. He is such a funny boy, and I'm happy he is back to his super active self again!
