Megan dancing!

Megan loves to dance and will dance to just about anything. She also just dances when she's happy. It makes me smile, which is just what I need sometimes!

Gingerbread houses

I decided to get the kids gingerbread house kits after talking to a friend about them. It was a big hit and we'll probably be doing it again next year!

Megan at 6 months!

Megan at 6 months!
I know that Megan is almost 7 months now, but I still wanted to post her 6 month stats and a little about what she has been up to. She weighed 14lbs 3oz, height 26in, and head circumference was 42 cm. I had also noticed that Megan had what looked like a bruise on her back, it had been there for awhile and I couldn't figure out what was causing it and why it wasn't going away. Well, the doctor said that it isn't a bruise and that I'm not a horrible mother for not being able to figure out what was causing it. Turns out she has a cavernous hemangioma. He said that it isn't anything to be worried about and should go away on its own. Anyway, what has Megan been up to? She rolls all over the place, sits by herself, scoots backwards, she often gets into a bear crawl pose, is so close to crawling, and has started eating solid foods. She still loves taking baths, playing peekaboo, and her newest thing is dancing! I need to get a video of her dancing, it is so cute!  Megan is such a joy and we love her so much!

Found Megan staring at us one morning

It took her about 3 weeks to really like her food

Can you see that tooth? The other one is so close to coming through too!

Spencer is 3!!

 Spencer is 3 years old!

We decided to have a friend party for Spencer this year. He had been to a couple birthdays and we had celebrated Timmy and Emily's so he had a good idea of what a birthday party was. He had been talking about it for months, trying to decide what kind of party he wanted to have (toy story, spiderman, mickey mouse, cars, and on and on). We finally went to the store and he picked out a Buzz birthday cake and that was the deciding factor. We just invited a few of his friends for a quick party. We played pin the tale on Bullseye, and who can spy, we had cake and ice-cream, presents and then just let the kids play or they could watch Toy Story 3. Overall I think things went pretty good.

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday!

Ethan got Spencer some hot wheels cars

Liam got Spencer a nerf gun

Landon got Spencer a Mator shake and go car

Emily got Spencer an airplane

For several days after his party he went around telling me and asking me who got him which presents. It was funny, but got old real quick! ;)

So, Spencer's birthday was the 21st of November. I was trying to think of things we could do on his birthday to make it special and fun and thought about the fun park. I asked Spencer's good friend Liam to meet us there and they had a good time! We also let Spencer pick a place to eat for dinner and he picked Burger King. Timmy and Emily had tried to get him to pick their favorite places, but he would not budge, he was going to Burger King. After eating we went up onto campus and went swimming. Spencer had a blast swimming until he got cold so we went home to have cake and ice-cream and presents.

At the fun park

Playing air-hockey, they didn't really know what they were doing, but they were having a great time doing it!

I had Sam's Club make Spencer's cake (I didn't want to make another one since I made one for the party)

Blowing out the candles again

Look at all my rings!

Spencer got a scooter for his birthday! Now I don't have to make Timmy or Emily let him ride theirs.

Pumpkin carving!

Oh, how we love to carve pumpkins! We got this cool attachment for our drill this year that scrapped all the guts out for us! It's awesome since the kids usually get half way done scooping the pumpkins out and then I have to finish it off, it was defiantly worth the $5.97 we spent on it!

Crazy hair day

The kids had Red Ribbon week at school a couple of weeks ago and crazy hair day was Timmy and Emily's favorite day! I have to say that their hair turned out amazing for not having planned anything until we started doing it! It was also eat lunch with your kids week and I ate with Emily on crazy hair day and all the kids loved her hair!
