Happy Birthday Emily!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY!!! Emily turned 7 on Saturday. I think it was a fun and exciting day for her. First she went to her last soccer game and won!! We came home from that and got ready for the day. We went to Golden Corral for lunch, where we discovered that they now have a chocolate fountain and cotton candy! We also discovered a big blow up t-rex a couple of businesses down from Golden Corral and went and checked it out. After that we went to the Fun Park and bowled, well except me (I was trying to take it easy). I'm not sure why I didn't take pictures of them bowling, since I just sat there the whole time!

More Birthday

We did have a few hours of down time, that was probably pretty boring for Emily, but then we had cake, ice-cream, and presents. After that we walked to the church for game night, but found that no one was there so we went over to our neighbor friends house and watched a movie instead.

A big thank you to The Chrissa Fairy who came and decorated the living room, so that I wouldn't have to climb up the latter, since Jeff was gone on the father son camp out! Yet again Chrissa, you are the best!

Almost there

I had a doctor's appointment on the 19th, the doc said that I was dilated to a 4 and 80% effaced, and that I would probably go into labor soon. I told him that I had to get though the weekend first because I didn't want to be in the hospital or have the baby on Emily's birthday which is the 21st. He told me to take it super easy and to come in Tuesday morning if I made it. Well, today is Monday and still no baby and I don't think I even took it all that easy (that is really hard for me to do)! So, I'll go to the doctor again tomorrow and I hope that he'll get things going since he is going out of town on Friday. I'll let you know what happens!

Emily played soccer again this year. I think she would've had more fun if the weather had been nicer. There have only been a few games where it was nice and the sun was shining! I think that Emily is an awesome forward and also does a great job as goalie (she's not afraid to jump on top of the ball). She had her last game on the 21st, which was her birthday, and she had fun at that game!

Timmy played soccer again this year. He has one game left this season. Aside from the weather it has been a good year. He has had fun playing, which I think is the most important thing. The second most important thing for him this year was learning more about good sportsmanship, from both sides of things. It's not fun to win a game and have players from the other team tell you, you suck just because you won, and its not nice or fun to yell mean things at players who are out on the field playing. Anyway, I have learned this year that Timmy is a great defender, but not so good as a forward, that probably has something to do with the fact that he doesn't like to run much!

Easter Morning

Saturday night we headed down to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Easter with them. Sunday morning we had a brunch and then went to church. My Mom sent each of the kids an Easter outfit, so they looked sharp at church! We finished the day with a yummy dinner.

Easter Happens 1

We had a good Easter. We started Easter off by going to the North Logan Easter Egg hunt. The kids were happy to actually be able to get eggs this year and Emily got a special prize egg, that she turned in for a small toy. We also had an egg hunt with our friends that live across the street from us, but I didn't post any pictures of that one. We also dyed eggs, I didn't take any pictures of us doing this, my brain doesn't always work anymore!

Jeff's Birthday!

Jeff's birthday was April 20th, but I can't remember how old he is anymore! I think if we stop counting now then we'll never get any older, right? Anyway, we celebrated with grilled steak, loaded mashed potatoes, salad, and then birthday strawberry short cake. Dinner was so good that we didn't even think to take a picture of it until it was gone!
