Wind Cave

The Wind Cave is a group of natural limestone arches and hollows. These arches and hollows were formed as water seeped through cracks deep within the layers of limestone. As the water slowly dissolved the limestone it created large underground caverns. The downward cutting of the Logan River exposed the caves allowing us to enjoy them now! We had a great time on this almost 2 mile hike up to the wind cave. The kids did great, there was no whining or crying about being tired or wanting to stop. My complaint is about people writing and carving stuff into the walls of the caves! It makes me so mad! Jerks! Anyway, I had a hard time picking just a few pictures, so there are lots of them.
